Hotel Antiche Terme Benevento

Good breakfast, host made fresh cappuccinos and americanos for us, with seating in the restaurant with great views of the river. Host was very helpful and flexible to our needs. We arranged for early check in and everything went smooth. And, this place had lots of free parking for our car, which was a big plus for us as we had to leave and return several times. Short walk to main part of town. Rooms were very spacious, it worked out great for us.

The location was hard to get to and no one was at the hotel when we arrived so a nice gentleman who was cleaning outside instructed us to call and then in 10 minutes Gabriel came. Leaving the location was difficult as well to get out of town terrible traffic and not an easy location to get in and out of

The Hotel Antiche Terme is a quiet, charming, smaller, well equipped hotel situated on the Calore River, with excellent views of the countryside while being central to the historic district. My room was very large, with ten-foot ceiings and brand new wood floors. My bed was the way I like it, firm with a little bit of cushion. My room had a desk, a minibar, and plenty of lighting. Smart TV. My balcony view was of the river and a beautiful bridge, the city and the countryside. If you like a great views, make sure you book it with the river view. The bathroom is very nice, with an awesome shower. Good wifi. Garbriele is an excellent host and manager, his staff did a wonderful job cleaning my room daily. He was very helpful with local information. Breakfast offers all the coffees and baked goods you can hope for. It is easy to walk all around the old section of Benevento from the hotel, as you are near all of the great sites. Benevento is a true gem, and the Hotel Antiche Terme is part of that, situated as it is on top of an ancient Roman bath complex. I will stay here again.

The room was great as was the view from the balcony and the food in their restaurant was one of our best meals in Italy!!

On site parking needs a little help, pavement wise...

Not much, fairly run down, positioned next to an uncared for Bomb site. Very good staff, excellent restaurant especially if you like fine cuts of Beef ……

Location very unattractive and tricky to find

Perfect location, next to the old city, the roman theater, and the famous arch, and close to the university. Everything in walking distance. Very friendly staff, large room, AC was working well, decent view from the balcony. Large rooms with everything you expect. Fast wifi!

Rather small breakfast. Location a bit hard to find as there is no sign with the hotel name at the street, but there is no other Hotel at that address so the "hotel" sign did the trick. No staff was available when we arrived but showed up immediately once we poked them.
