I wrongly thought it was a motel room, which is what i was looking for. It was a room in the hotel portion. Rooms definitely need a reno. Heater did not work so it was cold night Needed to change room because lock was broken or popped off the first room i received.

AUThe Australian Hotel Motel is located in the middle of Yass shopping centre. The Hotel section offers meals and drinks, or you can visit restaurants and cafes in town. Yass has a very helpful visitors centre; the park has a tribute to "Banjo" Paterson, a famous Australian writer/poet who grew up in the district.
The WiFi did not work reliably in the room - they prefer you to use it in the Hotel bar area.
