For the price was we got was ok although I personally find the pillow useless as they as too soft and have no support.
AUWe loved our spacious room above the local pub; it had a great atmosphere and was the perfect spot to head downstairs for dinner and watch the rugby. Despite being above a pub, it was surprisingly quiet with no late-night noise to worry about.
The water had a strange, noticeable smell—possibly recycled water used in the plumbing—which unfortunately drifted into the bedroom. Additionally, our window looked directly onto a roof that was covered in rubbish and dead birds. The room also lacked any lamps or bedside lighting, so it was a bit inconvenient only having the main overhead light to use.

GBAUThe food in the pub was value for money, the room was silent even when above a pub and communial. Staff was fantastic from book in, towels, cleaning and food. Seafood basket and Thai prawns highly recommended.
This is hard, the upstairs accommodation needs a deep clean of the carpets, the female toilet kept running water (a waste of resources). WiFi would be appreciated. But I had great 5 nights.
