Canopy by Hilton San Francisco SoMa

The coffee shop was closed 2 of the 3 days we were there because they couldn't find staffing. This was not the hotel staff's fault but made more work for them and an inconvenience for guests.

The room looked modern. The lighting was nice, they had a usb outlet and a big window.

The shower water temperature kept fluctuating, very loud street noize despite being on the 10th floor, someone was moving furniture till like midnight above us.

Location was great. Hospitality was great.

House keeping was knocking at 930 and even opened my room door. Luckily I had the deadbolt on otherwise it would’ve been worse. I don’t understand why since it was t even close to checkout. Also, The hotel either didn’t have enough parking to accommodate the amount of rooms or they sold the rooms separate to event goers.

Located in a great area walking distance from everything you need such as good food, target, TJs, the train station & more fun stuff! Across the street from a museum & ice skating rink. The vibe inside the canopy is definitely elevated. The rooms weren’t big but definitely made good use of the size. We were very happy with our stay here. Ther service from Miss Vivian at the front desk was exceptional!! She was the most friendly, helpful and I really appreciate her willingness to always find the solution to whatever problem we had! Thank you so much Vivian. We really enjoyed the cafe in the lobby it was a vibe and was very aesthetic. Although the cocktail bar I think was named Shelby’s was pricey. The food was good though. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we are definitely staying here again!!

Location

Staff was rude, not helpful at all. Made a rsvp at the rooftop restaurant that they ‘lost’ and I didn’t get a table. Valet took forever. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I cried a little.
