The George Great Oxendon

I always stay at the George and am never disappointed. Excellent, clean, cheerful staff and lovely food. Great breakfast with a view of a beautiful garden.

There was nothing I didn't like

Always excellent service and food at The George, Great Oxenden. Local beer on tap and the use of excellent local produce. Beer garden was excellent, well looked after. Breakfast superb. Always judge a breakfast by the poached eggs and they happened to be very good indeed!!

From the moment I arrived, (after a very long drive). It was just what I needed. The staff from the start to the end of my stay, were professional and very attentive. 10/10.

There was nothing not to like, plus fantastic weather and good ales, nice beer garden very well kept

La chambre était spacieuse, très confortable et bien décorée. Propreté irréprochable. Le restaurant est très bon, la salle très cosy avec cheminée. Le petit déjeuner était fantastique et à la carte: oeufs à la royale avec bacon/saumon, porridge, thé/café, jus d'orange. Nous nous sommes régalés. Le jardin doit être très agréable en été. Une belle découverte, nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un grand merci !!
