Pima Inn Suites at Talking Stick

There is no lobby or staff - keys are in a lock box so don't go to the Days Inn lobby expecting help. Bed sheets were dirty - ended running to Target and bought sheets for a one night stay - Reason this place was available at the last minute for a semi-reasonable price especially during spring training season - every other name hotel was booked solid - would not recommend this place to anyone - a Motel 6 might have been better!

To make sure that the vending machine are working and full of product.

For the amount paid, there was no breakfast and if you wanted breakfast you had to pay an extra 5.00 to another place. The ad for the Inn had info. but not quite true. The place didn't smell clean.

I was disappointed that it cost what it did with no lobby, phone in the room, construction in hallways, and the blankets were very coarse.

It's a room, has a bed, and was clean. There's no super nice, high-end ammenities to this place, but it gets the job done. Biggest draw would be that it's walking distance for MLB Spring Training games at Salt River Field at Talking Stick. Also, just down the street (relative walking distance) is a nice selection of places to eat and have fun (indoor skydiving, Talking Stick Casino, Go Karts, etc.). It's not a 5-Star resort by any measure, but it was quiet, clean, and basic. Can't really say anything negative about the place. Like the current rating indicates, I'd give it kind of 3-3.5 out of 5 stars.

My “Guaranteed” rate of $189/night when I booked became a variable rate starting at $239/night and increased over the course of my stay to $269/night. WiFi worked in the hallway. No WiFi in the room. The WiFi access point located in the hallway provided coverage about 10 feet into the room. Hotels.com and Pima Inn Suites notified on day 2 of 10 day stay. Staff at Pima confirmed the problem. It was never fixed. I received a $15/day reduction in the room rate to compensate.

Short and sweet

Brad was awesome and extremely helpful! It was an older hotel. Our room was clean. Half of the plugs didn’t work and our tv didn’t work the entire time we were there. It wasn’t the worst we have stayed in, but also wasn’t the best. We would probably stay again if we needed to - as long as the tv issues were resolved.

This is a great Motel. Check in is a little different, they don't have the typical lobby/check in, but I would stay here again. Great location!!
