TRIP POD CHIYO A

It was in a convenient location with a convenience store, a bus stop, and the train station all to a close two minute distance. It has a kitchen and the bed/tatami available were great for a family of three. I asked to check in earlier and for a small fee the staff accommodated us three hour before the regular time. The check in was easy with a tablet outside at the entrance of the building near the stairs and check out was a push of a button in a tablet in the room.

I chose this because of the amenities and they were all there except the washer that was out of service. Maybe it was recently broken but it should have been quickly replaced since is a feature that is advertised.

This was one of the only rooms available in town, so it worked. It was totally fine for two nights. While it was pretty clean as compared to similar class western hotels, it was pretty dirty and beat up for Japan. Would use again if in a pinch. Neighborhood is quiet but has some dining options and is close to a subway station.

The apartment was spacious. I appreciated the washing machine and laundry detergent. Plenty of towels and toiletries. It was useful to have coat hangers and a couple of rails.

The futon beds on the hard floor were very thin and not comfortable. I piled 3 futons on top of each other and it was still like sleeping on the solid floor. The bunk bed mattress was also too thin and uncomfortable. The ladder up to the futon beds was steep and it was quite scary trying to get onto the ladder from the top to come back down. The futon area has no head room, adults can't stand up straight. This accommodation would not suit everyone. The only luggage you could take up to the futon area would be a back pack. The accommodation description and gallery has chosen to omit all these details because they know that their bookings would reduce if they were fully transparent.. It would have been good to have a couple of chairs to sit on as the sofa isn't really big enough for more than 2 at once.

Nice spot, two burner stove which is one more than most. If you have a muscular butt/back you had better be a side sleeper. Great bathroom. No drying rack for dishes. Relatively busy street out front, unblockable window near the 15 foor ceilings. Bring an eye mask.

Very spacious property by Japanese standards, great facilities including free washing/drying. Everything you'd need for a short or long stay.

The bed situation is quite simple, just fold out padding on an upper floor level reached by a ladder, perfectly fine for us but if you're on the larger side or have mobility issues it might be a problem. The location is close to bus stops but it's a bit of a walk to Hakata Station (perfectly do-able though)

千代県庁口駅より徒歩で6〜7分で到着し、ホテルの目印の提灯で建物がすぐにわかった。交通の便も良く周りの環境は静かでコスパはとても良かった。千代県庁駅の、ホテルとは反対側にLAWSONがあって水や朝食を用意した。 部屋は綺麗でチェックインもチェックアウトも簡単だった。部屋のタブレットが明るくて充電機から外していたら電源が落ちてしまい最初の画面を出すのに戸惑った。 トイレ、洗面台、浴室、洗濯機が同じ空間にあり、窓はないので、トイレと浴室を使用後は換気扇を回しておいた方がいい。 浴室の赤カビが気になったので、こすって流した。浴槽の排水が少し悪かった。 アメニティは充実している。洗濯洗剤もある。柔軟剤はない。

エアコンが効かない。 コンセントが少ない（ロフトにも欲しい）
