Spotlessly clean, excellent location, excellent food and friendly service

Bathroom/shower area was very small but manageable

Julie and John are excellent hosts and go above and beyond to help, even to the extent that they will allow you to bring a takeaway back and set a table for you. Another big plus is that they have a small (but well stocked) bar which is brilliant for ending the day. Breakfast is fantastic and again nothing is too much trouble. Location is quite good if you are ok walking.

The only possible moan was the size of the bathroom and the shower. It was a bit awkward for a 6 foot person to get into certain areas and the shower was a bit low on pressure and kept pulsing. That may have been user error, but we both had the same problem. This is only a minor gripe and shouldn't put anyone off staying there.

John and Julie are fantastic hosts.

John and Julie make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I was in a single room and it was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the products were fresh and very tasty. On an evening it was nice to come back and have a drink in the bar and the prices were very reasonable and a fab selection of gins. 😁 Definitely arrive as visitors and leave as friends. Will definitely stay here again when I am in Scarborough

The Guest House is in a good location not far from the sea front and shops the breakfast was superb John and Julie made us very welcome when we arrived overall we had an excellent stay
