Norblad Hotel

We stayed here in October on our road trip down the west coast. We are from Australia and so very unfamiliar with these areas. We opted for one of the suites across the road in a separate building that is a bit arts and crafts and a bit mock gothic. We were not disappointed with the suite. It had been newly renovated and was very comfortable. The only downside was the road noise from constant truck traffic, as the windows are not double glazed. The woman on the front desk was lovely and very helpful. The town of Astoria is charming with some lovely walks, breweries and restaurants. We were very impressed!

We loved our stay in our Astor Building suite. We had a corner unit with charming arched windows and fabulous water and city views. The suite itself was light filled, cheerful, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was a bit of traffic noise given the central downtown location. But they provide ear plugs. Lovely place, we were sad to leave.

A perfect location for an overnight stay after a concert at the Liberty Theater. Exceptionally clean and neat.

We stayed in the Astor Suites portion of the Norblad, and the facility was absolutely stellar. Sparkling clean, extremely comfortable, and a stellar view of the harbor and Downtown Astoria. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about this charming little hotel. Staff were friendly, room was clean and so cute and comfortable. I appreciated that the included ear muffs because our room was right by the lobby and I was concerned about the noise. I only ended up using them because of my husband’s snoring hehe. Another big pro was the location! Right downtown in a cute neighborhood and walking distance to so many things! Breweries, restaurants, shops, galleries, etc. highly recommend.

The Norblad is a superbly run hotel. And the Astor Suites, where I stayed, was amazing! Will definitely return soon. Highly recommended.

Great higher room with a super view. Really enjoyed the location and the spacious room!
