Hotel Condon

The hotel and the downtown area was somewhat surreal as it is completely free from the fast paced bustle of normal life. By 6pm all the stores/restaurants are closed and didn't see a single person until the next morning out in town. The hotel is definitely the best part of the whole experience and are already planning on another trip there this Christamas when the town gets all their lights out.

The bed was great and the shower was huge and perfect after a long busy day.

Historic building with great charm. Buckhorn Saloon downstairs with live music on Friday night. Helpful friendly staff. Recommended.

This was an unusual experience in that during our stay we never encountered a single staff member. When we arrived the keys for several rooms were sitting on the counter with our names. We left rather early, so we returned the keys to the counter. It's a nice hotel and in good condition considering it's over 100 years old. Our room was very nice. There is a shared fridge in the hallway and an icemaker that wasn't working. The town closes at 6pm with the exception of the hotel bar/restaurant. Plan ahead as there will be literally nothing open after 6.

Its a nice old hotel in a small country town run by caring people. Its not 5 star glitz but it sure is 5 star fits, for my needs.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful small town with nice streetscape. Staff/owner was very polite on the phone. Small town trusting, generous feel to business. They didn't skimp on the amenities - coffee, soaps, shared areas.

I love this vintage hotel. It has so many nice touches like bathrobes, actual plates for their breakfast and a reading area with a fire place. The manager/ front desk gentleman was very pleasant and helpful. The bed, pillows and linens were comfortable and the room was large. Plenty of towels and shampoo amenities. Only suggestion was to use the sitting area of the room for another bed as most rooms only have one. Also the toilet in 203 wobbles. Nothing though would prevent me from giving a 10

Excellent front desk staff. Overall this location was good except single issue: Which was very dirty shower curtain. I've stayed in very unclean hotel rooms before, but it is another degree of uncleanliness when seeing at eye level. had multiple residues of varying substances crusted from previous occupant(s) of the room.
