Hotel Condon

Wow, what a neat place! Really liked the common areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We played chess and read to the kids there. No need for the fireplace this time of year, but it was pretty. Beds super comfy, really comfortable rooms. We'll be sure to be there on a weekend next time when the bar is open.

This is a very old and cool hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Charming old style hotel in the equally charming town of Condon. The rooms are clean, bright and in great condition. The breakfast was a little disappointing being a standard self service cold buffet (but good coffee!) a cooked breakfast would be more in keeping with the style of the hotel. Unfortunately the town of Condon lacks bars, pubs and restaurants and so the only option is to cross the main street to the Elks Lodge where you can get a good drink and pub meal at a good price in a rather dingy basement room. Apparently the hotel is opening its bar/restaurant in early June, but on June 7th this had not happened, it would make a big difference and would probably determine wether I stayed again.

I have stayed here several times and always enjoy it. It's a charming landmark that is very well kept. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating.
