Hotel Ideon

This hotel was far better than expected for the cost. It is in an excellent location and very modern. From the moment we walked into reception, every member of staff we encountered was so friendly and are definitely a credit to the hotel. We were shown to our 'smart room' which was the most modern we had stayed in in all our month of island hopping. The breakfast was also the best, lovely clean restaurant, and the only place we found a food selection of hot items on the breakfast buffet. Certainly exceeded our expectations and could not be faulted, would most definitely stay again.

L'accueil agréable. L'emplacement en face de la mer et près des restaurants, commerces.... Bon petit déjeuner.

La chambre se trouvait dans une annexe à proximité de 'hôtel. Vieillotte et très sombre. Salle de bain petite et aussi vieillotte. Une terrasse sans luminosité. Un bout de cuisine non équipé. Très déçus.

Spent one nigh at the hotel with my wife & daughter. The location is fantastic. The room was clean & spacious as were the common facilities. There's free street parking just down the road; it's only a matter of luck how far down. noticed paid parking kust up the road but didn't note the price. The only thing letting the hotel down was the breakfast & the staff during breakfast. The food selection was average & basic things such as putting sweets right next to hot savoury dishes should be avoided. Fix up the breakfast & it's a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is close to the town and overlooks the harbour. Parking is a problem you have to pay by the hour in the harbour car park. The rooms are very good and the breakfast is good. The staff are very good

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Rooms modern, comfy beds and pillows, kettle in room was nice to have. Breakfast had a fantastic choice. Lots of sunbeds by the lovely pool. Great location for easy walk to Old Town and many restaurants.

Not really a big negative, but we did find the breakfast staff not very friendly or engaging like the rest of the hotel staff, and since they are the first people you meet to start your day, a few smiles or a sense of happiness is always nice
