Cobblestone Inn & Suites Fairfield Bay

Shower…long time for water to get hot and slow to drain. Room was spotless. I would definitely recommend Cobblestone and restaurant!

Clean, quiet

Hands down the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in!! Reasonable rate with kitchenette, very comfy bed and good bathroom lighting(a must for putting on makeup) We will definitely stay again and highly recommend

The staff was very attentive The breakfast, though modest, was hot and fresh The room was immaculate We were well pleased with all our accommodations

Best hotel in the area

Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The only drawback I saw was in the parking situation, very little parking without parking across the street.

I made our reservations thru boiking.com. Then something happened and I needed to adjust the dates so I contacted booking.com and they tried to adjust the dates for me but couldn't. They suggested that I contact the motel myself. I trying this and without going into all the details my experience took me in circles leaving me to work wonder IF I would even really have a reservations. We ended up going to Fairfield bay on the original date. We arrived at this location and had a bit of a wait. Once we were greeted by a extremely nice gentleman who completely understood what was going on and he took good care of us. There were things that needed attended to (like the ice machine on our floor didn't work) but I feel like this is a place going thru transition and as many places there is limited staff. Breakfast was average. I say give it 6 months and try it. we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was clean, and every staff person was overvthe top friendly! They had a snack bar for low price and laundry facility. Bed was super comfy and room good size. Would deff recommend this place.

Lovely setting, very clean room with nice amenities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free breakfast was a great added touch.

Check-in was pretty easy except for them not having the room i booked. I booked a handicapped room. I have to have one because I'm in a wheelchair, paralyzed. They switched it to a different room but we had no bed for my son. Had they given the room i called and requested this wouldn't have been an issue. We were on the third floor and my mom was on the second floor. The third floor had this horrid smell. It didn't transfer into our room thank goodness but it was terrible. Also, the second day, I saw that the maids had dish soap, i asked for some to clean bottles with because I left mine on accident. She tells me, "sorry, its only for guests that are staying in a suite." I was so put off by that. I've never had any hotel tell me that. I travel often. The rooms are pretty basic. Not a whole lot of channels on tv. The beds are nice. My mom had an issue with the room having trash left over from the previous guest. Breakfast is free, it was really good Saturday morning. Lots of hot options but Sunday it wasn't the best. The restaurant in the hotel is okay. It needs some work but the family that runs it are the sweetest people so that was good. The pool is about a mile down the road. But its pretty nice. Theres very limited parking for the hotel. Theres only a little gas station *they don't have gas* harps & DG in the town but theres a walmart, Casey's, & a few other things in Clinton which is about 27 minutes from the hotel. Its a nice area. People are VERY friendly!
