It was all about the proximity to the airport. When we checked in we did have an evening meal which was very nice. Although the ordering was a little bit confusing for us and therefore a delay occurred.

There was nothing we didn't like other than the delay and confusion with food. We of course missed our breakfast because we had an early flight out which meant we couldn't fully appreciate everything that was included in the price.

Location near the airport

With few exceptions, awful staff. No help with luggage, not even a luggage cart. Got wife a “deal”—a taxi charging 3 times the going rate. They told her “We don’t do laundry, take a bus to a laundromat”. Did some research, there is a laundry service that picks up and delivers to their front desk. The maid rushed me out of the room, hence I left something behind. Not just clueless and unhelpful but unfriendly. The opposite of every other hotel we stayed at in these respects. Oh, and the food was dreadful. I LOVED every other hotel we stayed at in Scotland. I hated this one.
