Moxy Edinburgh Airport

Proximity to airport , a 10 minute walk. Comfortable and clean.

There is a 2 very busy roundabouts leading to the hotel with absolutely no pedestrian crossing anywhere. No one has even mentioned that in the reviews but I’m amazed that the council has not put any safe way of crossing the road with luggage near the hotel. It needs to be crossed twice to walk to the airport and the traffic is absolutely mental, huge trucks/lorries 😳😳 I had a hard time getting my head around it. Why no pedestrian crossings ???? Someone will be killed for sure 😳😳 With a number of hotels one would expect pedestrian crossings 🤔🤔🤔

This is a great hotel if you’re leaving from Edinburgh Airport as you can just walk to the airport. They have light meals and a full bar, and a good breakfast. There is a tram stop at the airport to take you into Edinburgh city centre.

Unfortunately the first night we arrived the Royal show was on next door, the car park was bedlam and the music didn’t stop until 2am. Then noisy people outside until 3am. But that’s not the hotels fault, just double check it’s not on before you book.

I was very disappointed, the charge socket in the room was broken so i had to keep leaving my phone down in the bar to charge, i need this for my diabetic readings 24/7. The beds are totally uncomfortable leaving me with back pain for the stay. The room was not cleaned correctly each day all the cups were left dirty and the floor not cleaned. On Monday Morning when i went for breakfast there was no bread, sausages or bacon just beans and hash brown and for £303 a night a total disgrace

Location a few minutes from the airport.

Breakfast was a bit ordinary. Not much variety in fruit. Only scrambled and cold hard boiled eggs.

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, sufficient space for bags, personal items, etc, spacious shower, good quality towels, very quiet - given that it was so close to Edinburgh airport

For the price paid, the provision of better quality coffee/tea facilities in the room would have been welcome

It was conveniently placed for the airport.

The menu for dinner was very limited and the portion received was tiny. I chose spicy macaroni and given a minuscule amount, the bowl was filled with mixed lettuce leaves which were brown in parts. Actually shocking both in taste price. My cat would have been hungry if I fed her that. I spoke with two other couples and they said they would never eat there again and went elsewhere as would I.
