The Pink Hotel Coolangatta

Was given the wrong room & walked in people sitting in underwear. Had to go & speak to bar staff to sort it out.

I had a brilliant idea to travel down to Coolangatta, by public transport, 50 cent unlimited travel, at the moment, due to an election year, I am told by the locals. By doing this I planned to be near the airport for my 6am flight. This was why I booked a room, at the Pink Hotel. My bus took me to within 50meters of the Pink Hotel. Which made finding it easy, as was the beach, which was with coo wee. A very different type of beach to surfers (long and deep). The receptionist was quick smart at settling me in and organizing an early morning taxi for me. I would call this hotel, kitsch, as it has a theme and decor to match, the album sleaves in the reception, and the catchy phrase in each room, a bit of a giveaway. Pink is what pink means. The hotel has concrete floors, with rugs placed on them. This must, at times, create noise of some level, as the metal staircase might. I only thought of this, when I noticed air plugs discreetly placed in my room. As I found the place rather quiet. I did not make use of the mini bar, but rather topped it up with three beers, when I left early next morning.

No food prep facilities only negative otherwise lovely staff and lovely rooms

Samara could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Room was lovely. Whole hotel was funky and cool. Only suggestion for improvement would be to have a small microwave in the room.

Modern and large rooms. Staff were friendly and hotel is close to shops and the beach. Only thing is there are no lifts, so not convenient if you have a pram (which we did).

Absolutely wonderful staff and the room was so fun and beautiful. I will definitely be back.

Good spot right on beach, nice staff and big a comfy beds. Have done a nice refurbishment job.

Amazing room was a lot of fun

Great spot, room was fairly big for a studio, A/C was not working though. Can be a little nosiey but ear plugs provided.

Property was very central for what we required. A little noisy but the weather was wild.
