The Pink Hotel Coolangatta

Reqlly loved staying here wish we had stayed longer!

This is a unique property in a sea of new high rise apartments/ hotels. This place has style, views, location, comfort… the access to the beach was so awesome, tons of e-bike around to get around. Food options are a plenty all around - the bar rooftop views were insane to watch the epic Gold Coast sunsets… Each staff member was a delight and so wonderful - The place was designed to play into it’s classic architecture…. I didn’t know I needed this stay to kick off my Australia experience but I really did.

Nice - but noise and young hooligans hanging around outside at night from 9pm till after midnight and right by cars , not good. Felt like any of them could come and bust down door anytime - no security, gate to property open, and being on ground floor, quite vulnerable.

I have always been a fan of the Pink Hotel, except for when I want to actually sleep here. It's a cruisy, party hotel, and people staying there have no care for other people staying there. We were kept up til 430am by the next room talking, then woken up 90 mins later by someone scabbing bottles and cans from the 2 massive skips out the front of the room, at 6am on a Sunday... after it was scabbed out of the night before around 11pm. The king bed was hard as a rock, the 2 pillows thin as paper. The bathroom vents loaded with dust, the exceptionally long lamp cord hanging from the exposed beams was coated in dust, hanging over the bed. The towels smell like they've been washed in chlorine. The staff are great. The Pink Hotel is very cool, it's just not the place to stay if you're after comfort, or sleep. More of a novelty hotel, great for photos and partying.

I’ve meant to write this for a bit, but better late than never. I stayed 3 nights in April at the Pink Hotel and if you stay anywhere else in Coolangatta, you have no idea what you are missing. The room was fabulous, well-appointed with a really comfy bed and fun decor. It was a perfect location walkable to everything in the area. Samara was amazing. She helped me with my luggage, called a cab for me when I sadly had to depart and was very welcoming and helpful. The rooftop is a fun space and the beach is literally steps away. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staff was a delight at check in and was very helpful in changing my room to a downstairs one as I can't climb stairs.

Tamara and the staff all delightful. My teen granddaughter loved the style.

Very unique. Great place to stay for a few nights to look around Cooly. Loved the rooftop bar- just like being in Miami
