Rooms Base

Staying right by Jupiter's temple, in the very middle of Diocletian Palace, was an amazing experience. My only regret was not staying longer. As for travellers who have a hard time finding the place, just look on an old map of the original palace, before you leave home, and you'll have no trouble at all locating it. On one side Diocletian's mausoleum, on the other, the temple, and right next to the temple's stairs... the door you're looking for. Easy-peasy!

Host was very nice and helpful in assisting with directions to the property. Room was practical and offered everything we needed for a short stay. Very good location.

Room was advertised as a double bed but was two separate single beds pushed together. Bed creaky and not that comfortable. Loud location at times if window open.

Great location inside Diocletian’s Palace. Next to the Baptistry and 10 yards from the Cathedral Piazza. Easy access to other parts of the palace and the rest of old town. Near the bus station and the harbor.

The room was in the heart of the city in the Diocletian palace. It was spacious and had air con. The gift shop on the ground floor was quaint. Best of all, the host Ivor was very welcoming and helpful and always available if we needed him.

Quite busy at this time of year and so a lot of people outside but the room was noise proof with the window closed

Comfort of the bed.

The Location was very Central in Old Split. Walking into your air conditioned room on a hot day was excellent.

The biggest surprise was that the owner does not take a card payment and it has to be CASH ONLY. Apparently he does not generate enough money for a card machine....... We had two rooms and stayed on a Sunday and Monday and then a Thursday and Friday. In all, we gave the owner nearly 1000 euros in cash, which is quite expensive when taking it from an ATM.
