Rooms Base

The location was so good, right next to the Roman temple. Nice and clean, we had a really good sleep. Good help from the owner.

Central location, host very helpful! Clean, quiet and convenient! Had a kettle!!

The Room was clean and centrally located in the city.

The rooms are above a little gift shop tucked down a little side street in the heart of Split Old Town so you really are in the centre of things and surrounded by history. The rooms are basic but perfectly fine. The staff were very helpful especially the first night we were there as it was a very late last minute booking. Netflix was available too! We were able to leave our luggage there after we checked out which was very helpful but note it is not in a secured place. We had no problems though.

The location has its downside in that it is not accessible to taxis so if you have lots of heavy luggage you need to be prepared to carry it up and down steep steps and through the Old Town (the streets are slippery due to ancient Roman marble!) . Plus the noise of tourists can be quite loud quite early in the morning. In our room the curtains did not fit so if you like a very darkened room this may not be possible to achieve.

the address advertised was not the property I stayed in. This made it very hard at night to find the room as I had no reference address to refer to.
