Rooms Base

Location was excellent for access to public transport (ferry, bus, train, airport) museums, restaurants and shops. Being part of a historical palace was a bonus. Host was very helpful, responsive and communicative and friendly.

The narrow passageway created a magnified volume for street noise below which did not go quiet until 2am every day even with the windows and shutters closed.

The location was excellent l. Very central. Got a bit lost as it’s rooms on top of a shop but the host was kind enough to meet us at a point and take us to the room. Very close to the shops and restaurants. The host was very helpful in showing us how the TV works. Air conditioning was good and working. Towels provided.

There was visible big patch of mould in both the room and the bathroom which was concerning. Adequate room with 2 beds and a tv-like a bed sit.

Really great spot and value for money.. Lovely host who made us feel very welcome and accommodated.. Everything was pretty great except a couple small things..

Just a bit hard to find if you don’t have use of the phone internet but we asked a restuarant and they called him.. It’s above a shop so that’s why it’s confusing.. Bed was really hard and shower was broken..
