The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Peaceful atmosphere, good AC/fan, good meals but most of all, Peter, Eric and Brenda are fantastic people - super friendly and help you any time you need it.

Het was prima maar ik vond teveel dingen ondermaats.

Geen water, wifi viel telkens uit, zwembad was leeg terwijl het 38 graden was. Mieren op de kamer. WC spoelde niet door door gebrek aan water.

I'm not sure if this is the case with all rooms but our windows were only netted, no solid barrier so the noise from outside was conspicuous

Everything was perfect. Highly recommend it. Great team, food and stay. The best place in my entire trip. Cute dogs!

Abbiamo passato quattro giorni fantastici al Zapote tree Inn. Il proprietario e lo staff sono stati estremamente gentili, disponibili e amichevoli. La posizione è perfetta, con una bellissima vista su Flores. È possibile organizzare diverse escursioni semplicemente chiedendo allo staff. Spostamenti comodi. Vale la pena!

I loved it here! It was so beautiful, the view was incredible, there were tons of spots to sit (or hammock!) and enjoy the view of Flores. The food the hotel staff made was delicious - we had breakfast and it was all amazing and I had the best papaya of my life! The hotel staff were also super helpful and informative, they would help us arrange ferries (car and person) across the water to San Elena and Flores, and for myself also to the airport. Very kind and attentive. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of towels. Water was warm if you ran it very slowly. There was free parking for our

It took us a little bit to figure out exactly how to get there because Google maps was trying to take us up roads we couldn't get to, but once we figured it out it wasn't too difficult - just very uphill, and our smaller rental car took a little time to get there. But definitely worth it for the view you get.

The property is lovely, and getting to it with a boat adds to the experience. Eric was very helpful and responsive at all times, really cared when booking the tours etc always making sure I was well taken care of. The hotel has all the positive aspects of a hostel (relaxed and communal vibe, rustic feel) but the comforts of a hotel with private rooms and Aircon etc. I like that there's dinner available on site - a proper home-cooked meal! I also really appreciated that I never felt "abandoned" - there was always someone on site ready to deal with something. The area is quiet (aside from when the party boats go by), the views lovely and there are activities nearby. My only regret is not staying longer!

Honestly, it was all great. Maybe that there was no hairdryer? That's about it!

The view and the staff were magnificent!

I wish I had known I could take my car on a barge to the location from Flores de Isla. The road in is better than a lot of side roads in Guatemala but is dirt and limestone and very dusty. It took us an hour to get there. Take a boat or the barge to the location is my advice. They evidently message you to give you this information. Just a hiccup. In the end it was worth it 😃 and Peter was awesome at talking a tired traveler off the ledge. My apologies Peter🙏🏼 Hello Eric! Great boat driver!
