Villa Notos

Everything was to be liked. Villa Notos is a short walk (maybe 200 metres) from the ferry terminal and the town of Adamas and Lena and her staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. From the initial welcome and carrying of our cases to the room, to allowing us to stay in our room into our last evening because of the late hour of our ferry and having our cases carried and stored in an empty downstairs unit while we went out for dinner before our ferry was not only enormously helpful but very thoughtful. When we checked in Lena gave us a detailed rundown of the island including identifying key services, eating places in Adamas and the best island beaches depending on the wind. And she went out of her way to help us find some people we'd met and places we'd been to on our original visit to Milos many years ago. The room was clean and spacious and the balcony great for having breakfast and drying clothes on the clothes lines provided. We were told Villa Notos doesn't do breakfast ... but we were invited every morning to call reception and Lena responded with a beautiful tray with freshly brewed coffee, bread and jam, a delicious homemade Greek pastry (custard or spinach pie) or Greek cake, which we enjoyed on our balcony. It was an outstanding way to start the day.

Great location right by the port. Room was super spacious and comfortable. The hostess was the sweetest! She gave us lots of great recommendations, and even though we did not pay for breakfast, she provided free coffee and bread/pastries for us each morning.

There was no door or curtain on the shower so bathroom got a pretty wet anytime we showered, but wasn't a huge deal.

Very comfortable with kitchen facilities. Good location within walking distance from the ferry, and still close to the the harbour and restaurants.

Complimentary breakfast was minimal, just bread and jam.

Location. Super clean.. every effort made to keep guest happy Provided SO MUCH kind good info.. so charming & old school hospitality 🤗🤗

2steps in the middle of room .. had to be careful not to trip fall

Our stay at Villa Notos was perfect! We ended up booking a night here very last minute due to a ferry delay that would have left us hanging around the port until 3am. We decided to look for a room at about 10pm and were extremely lucky to find this place! The host was very friendly and accommodating especially for such a last minute, late night booking. The room was very nice, super spacious and very clean! The robe and slippers were a very nice extra touch!

The host, Eleni and her staff are wonderful and very helpful. It’s only a short walk from the ferry to the apartments, and Eleni delivers breakfast to your door after 8am with fresh coffee and home cooked goodies. The large outdoor deck is wonderful to relax on at anytime of day.

Breakfast can only be requested after 8am so if you have an early departure you will miss it. There are much better beaches away from the port, take the opportunity to go to one of the beaches recommended, the one below the apartments is average.

Very close to the port but away from the noise. We had a late ferry arrival and it was a short walk to the accommodation. The owner waited up for us due to the late arrival of the ferry. Room was simple but had everything needed. There were a few steps but the porter sorted out the bags. While breakfast was not paid for, coffee and bread/jam/cake was provided on the patio for free. Very nice touch. The owner gets a lot of repeat customers for longer stays with bigger rooms and views, and she is very helpful. It’s like a home stay, with extras.

Where to start with Villa Notos. This will go down as one of the most special places we stayed at on our month long trip in Greece. From the moment we arrived for check-in to when we checked out, Lena was there for us. She spent the first 20 minutes telling us all the things to do on the island. Best beaches, best restaurants, best activities to participate in. She truly cared and it showed. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was extremely spacious and came with everything we needed, including a small kitchenette. Although we did not book the breakfast option, we were provided with fresh coffee and home baked goodies by Lena every morning on the outdoor deck with white linens on the table. The location could not be beat. A five minute walk you were in the heart of Adamas and all the restaurants and shops. Perfect. A car or ATV is essential on Milos to get around and there is a parking lot right on site for use. It is also a quick walk to the main port if you don't have transportation. The beach right outside the Villa is sandy and not busy and a great place for a morning dip or evening cool off. Lena provides beach towels to use as well. Lena and the staff were gracious and friendly. It is hard to write that we would HIGHLY recommend Villa Notos for a stay for fear that we won't get a room next time we come!
