We stayed in 4 different guest houses on our trip to Iceland and they were all nice but this was our favorite by far! The room was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the common area was just what we needed. Even though the house was full it stayed surprisingly quiet. And the breakfast was amazing, we will definitely stay again if we have the chance!!

Trust the positive reviews! Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast spread, comfy and clean accommodations. My only complaint is that our second-floor room had sloping ceilings (essentially the roof above us), so the taller folks in our party bumped their heads a few times before growing accustomed to ducking when nearing the sides of the room.

Our stay here was amazing !! The staff were very helpful and friendly . The food was outstanding and our room had balcony that overlooked a phenomenal Northern lights show !!! Couldn’t have been any better

This hotel is way over rated. For ~$200, we got a room which is completely outdated (maybe from 1975). Also, the room has a triangular shape ceiling where the shortest height is ~1.5 meters. Our heads hit the felling multiple times. All in all, it is a terrible experience for the price we paid.

What an incredible stay ! The guesthouse was gorgeous, the kitchen was well stocked, the complimentary breakfast was beyond our expectations. Would definitely stay again :)

The breakfast staff and food options were excellent. I love the property and the shared bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. We did have a communication issue the day we checked in. We were due to arrive around 8:30 pm so I called that afternoon to make sure the restaurant would be open and again at 8 pm and both times no answer. We didn’t find out it was closed until it was too late to go anywhere else. After explaining that to the gentleman at the front desk, he just shrugged his shoulders and said an email was sent out to all the guests about it, but we never received that email. We picked this place specifically for the restaurant so it was a big disappointment. I feel like we could have been offered something to purchase, as it is a farm. There is a shared kitchen, if you take your own food. Always carry snacks in Iceland, just in case.

What a great spot!! Family farm run by super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable! An excellent place to spend a night or few plus a great place to do day trips from in southern Iceland.
