Red Lea Apartments with Pool and Spa

The size of the penthouse apartment was really good. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The fire exit in the bedroom that was out of use could be opened and there was a shear drop (no fire escape. A child was staying in the room and could easily have opened the door. We move the dressing table I front door to prevent him going nearby There was nowhere to put clothes in the second bedroom. No drawers or wardrobe The pool was cold, the sauna was not working, the hot tub was visibly damaged (although it worked) and the poolside area was dirty.

Love staying here. Location excellent, clean quiet bright flat with sea views, and a warm flat.

TVs did not work well, issues with remote not working and reception issues. 2 seater Sofa not that comfy - the room is big so larger sofa would be great. Sauna out of order and poolside tiles could be cleaned.

The location, staff and set up were all excellent. Perfect for a long weekend exploring Scarborough with the kids.

Nothing really. The lift for the appartment opens directly into the inside of the flat, which is a bit disconcerting. To open it from inside the lift you need the key for the flat, so it's fine, just feels odd to start with. Wasn't ever a problem for us.

The apartment was lovely and spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was served by a lovely lady but tbh all of the staff were very helpful.

We had an issue with the main door key but it was resolved really quickly.

Receptionist was very helpful. Free parking was sorted and facilities were explained. We arrived earlier than anticipated and, luckily, the accommodation was ready for us

The adjoining hotel where we had to collect our keys and where the facilities were located is currently closed to the public so we had to buzz in each time

The penthouse was clean. It's big. It as a lift to it. Plenty parking payable at reception. Sea View. Quite

Sofa tied. You have to walk in to hotel and down to a tied pool. Sauna was not working staff said temperamental said report it in week no good to us. Hot tub got switched off so only went pool not so good. On day departure we spent 20 min traying get someone to open door hand key in. Christmas tree was very small in apartment. Would go again no.

Very nice apartment and staff were very helpful.

Sitting area wasn't that comfy ,the rest was fine.Very clean aswell.

The Red Lea apartment was a pleasant experience & exceptionally clean which is so important to us with a few nice surprises. Also lovely area/ close to the cliff lift.

Nothing we didn’t like. Maybe a bigger TV would be more enjoyable for a family to watch a movie.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central but quiet location, apartment was spacious and extremely clean and tidy. Great facilities. Pool, sauna and hot tub we enjoyed. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking available at a reasonable price outside the property.

The cold water tap in kitchen never really ran cold always warm. The settees although large weren’t the most comfortable the seat pads not very supportive. The bedroom had a fire escape type door with a blind covering it with a four storey drop directly out of the door. We are assuming this door no longer opens but think it needs blocking off completely or bricking up. Only minor issues. Overall great accommodation and we did enjoy our stay very much.
