Budget accommodation in good location close to shops.

For what we paid we didn’t expect much more. This property has so much potential given it’s location it has been neglected for many years.

It is very good value for money, excellent location: 10 minute walk from train station and 20 minute walk to the three sisters. The manager is very nice and helpful

Older style hotel that seems fairly well maintained. Has air conditioning and is located in the Katoomba village. The hotel manager is very friendly and prompt in communications. Positive experience overall. Quiet too.

According to a tourist brochure in the foyer there should have been a free continental breakfast included in the accommodation. The staff did not inform me of this when I filled in the check in form. Rm 13 needs a freshen up. The gauze on the bathroom window has a gaping hole. Could not have the window open to allow airflow. The shower was good.

Character and charm. Host is very friendly and generous. Continental breakfast in the front room is great. The cabaret room looks fantastic. Hotel is next to RSL so easy walk to dinner. Good location. Rooms are large with good amenities.

The picture advertising the guesthouse is massively deceiving. The guesthouse has an amazing history but does not live up to its description. We booked 3 rooms and all were less than acceptable. Two rooms had a terrible smell which was from the airconditioner leaking on the carpet and the water puddle was significant. We were told the issue had occurred the night before but the water patch was not new. The other room was dirty, dust on powerpoints. All three beds were overly firm mattresses with terrible pillows. We were offered breakfast for $10 each. There were three types of cereal in plastic storage containers. There was OJ in a jug and bread slices left on a tray uncovered. It was no way inviting or did not appear palatable.

Lovely, clean room. Had a wonderful nights sleep
