Clarendon Motel and Guesthouse

That motel has an unpleasant smell.

We liked the friendly, helpful staff at the Clarendon but the facilities in our room were very old and some towels etc were missing. The building is well situated for walking around the town, however.

The service was excellent. But the hotel room really smelled like urine and after one day the toilet started leaking. But besides that everything was great. The stay was very affordable!

The property certainly needs renovation. Caretaker at property was nice and attentive. Location is very good near to market and echo point. However rooms need renovations

Well priced accomodation in a very convenient location. A little dated but at this price who cares?

Quirky and comfortable, close to town. A little run down and probably haunted! We liked the games area and common room. We were confused and slightly terrified by the minimalist hoarding vibe of the mini town. Will stay again

The rooms we were given were not good as the toilets were not good. What we liked was they gave us better rooms

The property was well located on Lurline Street. Just down the hill from Katoomba Street and a short walk to the RSL for a reasonable priced meal. A did wander up the street to the end of Katoomba Street for a lovely Thai meal. So once again, the location was good. A little longer walk to Echo Point, but worthy of the effort. The gentleman who met me was very courteous and helpful, too. A quaint Motel that has seen a few guests over the years but still equal to its ranking. If you get the chance, it will be a lovely stay.
