ADAPT APARTMENT HOTEL Giessen

Stylisch, sauber, gut ausgestattet.

Die letzte Nacht, 12.07. auf den 13.07.25 gab es im Nachbarapartement Nr. 10, einen andauernden Krach durch lautsprechende Personen (ca. 4), das ging bis morgens um 5:30 Uhr. Als ich zum Abend von einer Familienfeier zurückkam, war ein Keil zw. Türzarge u Tür des Flures gelegt. Als ich diesen aus Sicherheitsgründen weglegen wollte, kam ein etwas jüngerer Mann um die Ecke und meinte, dass ich den Keil bitte liegen lassen solle, es käme gleich eine Frau/ Bekannte, für die er die Tür offen hielte. Mir widerstrebte das. Ich würde in dem Zusammenhang regelmäßige Kontrollen durchführen, ob sich nicht mehr Gäste in kleine Apartments einschleichen, als vorgesehen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen H. Schelt

I had to spend a whole week in Gießen for working reasons (please consider that if it is not for work, you cannot book) and this seemed the best solution. Less expensive than an hotel, in a quiet street, near the river, at a walking distance from the city center. Be sure to have a working wifi: you need it to download the electronic key app, to check in and to open the door of your room. The apartment is very well maintained, cleen and with everything you need for your stay (kitchen, desk, bed, bathroom with shower). There is also a room, in the house, with the washing machine but I could not open the door with the key.

I am a non smoker. I hate smoke. Unfortunately in one of the room near me there was a person who decided to smoke outside (every room has also an external space with chairs and table), making it impossibile to open the door to have some fresh air. I would reserve a whole house just for smoking people.

The apartment was simply outstanding. Clean, sufficient equipment, spacious, balcony with chairs and table, everything working well.

Checking in took me quite some time, that was too bad and perhaps caused by the fact there is no personnel available: all is arranged from Berlin. And frankly, I hadn’t turned on Bluetooth to open the door. 2 of the helpdesk people weren’t able or interested sufficiently to help me, but one lady (think it was Mandy) guided me through the whole process and deserves a big thumps up. She made my stay possible or I wouldn’t have come in and did so keeping my cheerful. The parking lot was also very good, but a bit of a walk (fifth floor) without clear understanding of how to get there and to the apartment.
