I did not feel sufficiently briefed with regards to the checkin process as the property only has an automated checkin machine with a registration code needed to start the process. the code may have been sent in an earlier communication but I could not find it in my emails and had to call the management in Berlin. The code was then kindly sent and I could check in. but I don‘t recall receiving any information regarding the fact that this is an automated checkin or how to find the checkin machine or the apartments themselves. there were some signs on the property but some guesswork as to where to go exactly was also necessary. overall I feel the details of checkin and checkout should be communicated clearer before the trip. also you should be aware that, at the time of writing, the property managers seem to accept business travelers only AND require some type of proof and/or passport copy to support your claim that your reservation is in relation to a business trip. this also seemed somewhat unusual for reservations on Booking.com lastly: neighbors smoking on their balconies and smell comming into the room.
