The Lord Nelson

We were given the keys when we arrived but weren't told any instructions on how to get in the property after we had been out.so around 10.20pm, we arrived back thinking as it's a public house we will have a drink before going up to our room but the bar was all locked up now I know people may think I'm stupid but if you're not informed by someone at the property when you check in that there is a lock code on the key ring for the back door to gain access when the property is closed people wouldn't have to stand outside in the freezing cold for 2 hours 😬🤨 rant over regards Mr and mrs idiots

Breakfast was not included too long to wait and the staff were not around to explain details or serve us.

Our second stay at the Lord Nelson. We like it for the location, as very convenient for visiting relatives in and around Brigg. First stay was in a room at the back which was peaceful. This time we were at the front and we were disturbed until 2 am by noise outside from rowdy revellers in high festive spirit! We had what we needed in the room for a 1 night stay. Price was higher than I hoped for bed only.
