Central location, clean and comfortable bedding

Non existent customer service - we were greeted after a five minute wait at reception with a man saying he would be with us soon, he then proceed to bar and ignored us for the next 10 minutes - if I hadn’t prepaid I’d be gone. Room was dark with very poor lighting. Coffee was available however milk (half and half) was so old and out of date that the milk curdled and formed lumps.

The landscape

The internet was awful for the guests, but good for the manager. Part of the staff was walking without shoes around the facilities, the towes were old and look yellowish, the soap was smaller the size of a nail, the front desk was empty in the mornings, the shower head was not more than 5 and a half feet high. Very disappointing.

Location. Beds were comfortable. I think owner was extremely friendly.

I wasn't expecting luxury, but a rustic hotel should still be taken care of. Beds were clean, towels were clean but had an odd odor. We saw evidence of deceased bed bugs. There was no WiFi, we were able to log on but after that nothing. Unable to make a call, again I understand the location but if a hotel claims they have WiFi then it should work. No hot water the last 24 hours of our stay, we couldn't shower. Besides all of that it is very sad to see this lodge not being kept up and taken care of. Needs care and attention!!!! Baseboards with gaps metal transition piece that will rip your toe off if you catch on it, ceiling falling down, shoddy plumbing, patch jobs. This place has potential.... sad.

The room was very comfortable. The location was quaint and near everything.

The entire building is in need of repair/updating.
