La Torre di Pieve

A super nice host - Paolo is very gentle, helpful and happy to tell you all about art, the city and its surrounding. Great communication and very unique place. We really enjoyed our stay here during the Via di Francesco.

We had a wonderful stay at La Torre di Pieve. What an amazing and special place, so unique and full of art and history. Thank you Paolo, you made us feel very welcome and shared so much knowledge of the town and region that we would never have known. A visit to The Little Museum of Diaries is an absolute must do. We really enjoyed the superb breakfast in the tower. A very special place to stay.

We had an amazing stay with Paolo in his beautiful & artistic apartment. We were welcomed with fresh, hot coffee in the dining room with views up to the mountains. Paolo was generous with his time and knowledge and provided such a warm human connection - this was really a very unique experience and we feel so lucky to have found it! What a great way to see Italy!

Paolo was very kind and went out of his way to help us even though our Italian is terrible. He was wonderful at explaining the area and took pride in his town. Breakfast in the tower looking at the mountains was a real treat.

Paolo was a wonderful host. Though we don’t speak much Italian and he didn’t speak much English, communication was not a problem. Helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the city and his home.

Central location..

Didn't feel like I had enough privacy. The bedroom and kitchen was not clean enough for my comfort. Bed was uncomfortable and damp . I was cold all night. (October). Owner's smoke-filled room was right between my bedroom and (my??) bathroom. I will not return.

The old quain, historic apartment is so well cared for by Paolo. His attention to detail was outstanding, and his welcome was so genuine and open.. Tthe location was central. A beatifiul welcome with fresh brewed coffee. Beautiful table setting for a light breakfast and again fresh coffee and pastry.... it was a wonderful experience as part of our Camino.

No shower, but a large bath and shower head so this was not an issue

My daughter is an artist and loved everything about our stay.

We have been travelling for many years and we are sure that it was the worst apartment ever. It was nothing like the photos on Booking website. We didn't meet the owner. We got the keys from a neighbour. The biggest problem was that the apartment was filthy. Everything was run-down and seriously dirty: the beds, the whole kitchen and the bathroom. The fridge was mouldy with spilt coffee on top and dirty things inside. The smell in the apartment was awful. We decided that it would be hazardous to stay there and we went to the nearest hotel instead. The whole experience was terrible !!!
