The place is very well located in downtown Sulmona. A typical construction with stone walls, clean and comfortable. The owner of the B&B was very nice and friendly at my arrival and gave me good advices about spots to visit near Sulmona. I’m very happy with my stay at “Il Viandante”.

"I'd expect more for that price"

Right in the historic city centre. Cosy interiors. Comfortable bed.

Owner does not speak english at all. The room is rather small and you access it via steep stairs. The bathroom is also 1 big step above the room floor (remember that at night!). The breakfast is really 'sweet italian style', just some packed cookies and jam, nothing fresh. Wifi was not available at that time.
