"Fantastic stay and great food"

Stayed here a couple of times and will be back, the food is fantastic and room clean and functionable, even dolce gusto coffee machine in room, everyone friendly and was allowed late checkout due to meetings in pm, pictures if my dinner and i didnt need the 3rd course but you know alot of love was put into the food! Thanks for a great stay!

Had an amazing stay with the other half! Grantham arms had a very cozy feeling and the staff were very friendly, would definitely return for another visit!

"Excellent"

Good country pub accommodation. Room was very clean and comfortable. I didn't eat there but local friends tell me the food is good (as pub food goes)

I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful place. Although I wasn’t expecting to stay over an hour away from York central and the king bus ride was exhausting… once I got there I fell in love with this small village and its people. Safe, quiet, clean and so very friendly. I was told wrong information about the bus when I tried to leave on Sunday (not their fault) Debbie was so very kind to drive me in her personal vehicle to the train station. I would go out of my way to visit again. Rob, Caroline, and Debbie along with the other staff have remarkable talent. I have to praise the chef Simon as well because everything came beautifully presented and the flavors were extraordinary. It’sa 5⭐️ place without the fussiness. It was my very favorite mistake on this trip and I can’t wait to visit again.

Made to feel really welcome, check in easy, nice room with brilliant shower, good beer selection, lovely food with excellent portions and a very good breakfast with again man size portions.
