"Room great"

I stayed here before with no complaints, however, I booked a table for dinner and was rushed through, with my starter being served within 5 minutes of order, and the main course as soon as I finished the starter. I had sausages and mash for main, which was disappointing (plain mash, when mustard mash was on the menu, sausages which appeaered to be undercooked, and very salty gravy). When I bought my dis satisfaction to the attantion of the server, I was just told ' sorry about that' and then nothing more. I would definetley stay again for the great rooms, but would eat elswhere in the future.

"Good place to stop over"

Excellent place to stop over as was on business nice to have had a dolce gusto machine in the room, food was excellent and my only gripe would be that a desk and chair in the room would have been useful but toom not big enough to hold

"Fab place!"

A lovely eccentric pub in a central location. We stayed in a deluxe room which as lovely and had lots of different little accessories which made it special. The outdoor igloo's were amazing where we had drinks and the food was also excellent. Overall a great one night stay which was good value for money

"Lovely welcoming and room"

Lovely warm a welcoming pub with good selection of food and drink. The room and en-suite were very generously proportioned and the decoration was excellent. A few cobwebs had been missed that didn’t negatively impact on our stay.

"Comfortable stay"

Very comfortable room. Quite cobwebby a few daddy longlegs and insects around the place, but apart from that it was very nice. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on food and drink, but all staff were very friendly when they dealt with us.

No issues whatsover, although my stay was short it was certainly sweet, I would recommend to others as a good place to stay
