1)The security, at the day we arrived, it took him a while to open the gate for us. Even on the day we left, the security took his time to open for us. 2)The room had a lot of flying insects and mosquitoes, if that can be controlled will be much appreciated. 3)The management, we request to check in at 12 but they never replied earlier. If clients can be responded on time that can assist travelers to plan their trips accordingly. 4)The food, it was nice except the meat. The beef is too hard. 5)The air conditioner is is not working working properly.

ZAZAA Decline in Standards I revisited Mount Azimbo Lodge in December 2024, hoping to recapture the exceptional experience I enjoyed seven years ago. Unfortunately, my stay this time did not meet those high expectations. The open, unmanned gate raised safety concerns, and the reception staff were unprepared for our arrival, despite prior communication. Payment confirmation was unnecessarily cumbersome, requiring me to resend documents. The room was poorly maintained, with spider webs in the corners and spiders crawling onto me—an unsettling experience. Basic amenities like shower gel were missing, the TV and Wi-Fi did not work, and the parking area was muddy and inconveniently far from the rooms. Breakfast was delayed from 07h00 to 07h40 due to late staff, and the untidy dining area reflected a lack of care. Despite these issues, the air conditioning was effective, and the classic furniture still added charm, though it needs better maintenance. I share this feedback to encourage improvements. Mount Azimbo Lodge once offered an unforgettable experience, and I hope it can restore its former excellence.
