Richmond House Hotel

Die Matratzen waren gut.

Das sogenannte "Hotel" hat keine Rezeption, keinen Aufenthaltsraum und Frühstück wird ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Die Auskunft des Personals wo wir frühstücken könnten, war dass es in der Umgebung genügend Plätze zum Essen gäbe. Das Zimmer hatte ein Waschbecken im Zimmer, weil die Toilette so klein war, dass dort nichts mehr hineingepasst hat. Die Dusche funktioniert mit Boiler mit entsprechendem Vorlauf. Generell war das Zimmer minimalistisch und extrem lieblos eingerichtet. Alles in allem hat das Ganze den Charme eines 1960er Jahre Zimmers. "Hotel" war das sicher nicht. Nur Zimmervermietung. Nie wieder.

De badkamer was piepklein, slechte matras.

La proximité du centre.

Vous êtes obligés de traverser la salle de restaurant depuis le parking pour accéder a l'hôtel avec des escaliers en colimaçon. Une décoration très vieillotte. Les chambres sont juste au dessus du restaurant chinois avec des odeurs de cuisine pas très appréciable. Tres cher pour cet hôtel.

Decent place to stay. Clean room and a comfortable bed.

The location was ideal if you want to be in Fort Augustus. It's not a hotel in the usual sense of the word, more a Chinese restaurant with rooms. When I arrived the restaurant was packed with "Chinese ?" Customers, which must be a good indicator of the food. My room was a little small but well maintained and clean. Everything you need for a short stopover. Good price too.
