Hotel Metsähirvas

This place is cute! The staff is amazingly friendly and the proposed is beautiful. I’m staying in a winter wonderland and it’s quieter and peaceful. It is a 30 min uber cab ride from the city center, 50 Min from airport, but it was worth it and we didn’t have any trouble getting Ubers, even after seeking the aurora borealis and getting in at 1:30am. Some excursions pick up from here, check to see! It used to be a school many years ago and you can tell. No elevator for any people who may want to limit stairs.

O atendimento da equipe é sensacional!! Hotel amplo com quartos grandes. Eu optei por um hotel mais afastado da cidade para procurar a Aurora Bureal. Fica na beira de um lindo lago, que estava congelado. Vista linda e excelente experiência.

Achei os quartos um pouco frios, mas nada que gerasse desconforto.

空港送迎の際、トミーさんが最高に親切で、安心して利用できました。 フロントもレストランのスタッフの皆様も本当に優しく温かく、こちらのホテルを選んで大正解でした。 雪に慣れていないと、駅や空港から離れた自然豊かなホテルを選ぶのは少し躊躇してしまいますが、こちらのホテルであれば間違いなく快適に過ごせると思います。 大変おすすめです。

We are family of 4 - kids are 8 and 12. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was excellent. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, amazing shower room and your own sauna. We had a hire car, so being out of town was no problem. We did visit Santa Claus Village, and my first thought was - I’m so glad we didn’t stay there. Our apartment here was like a little sanctuary and was so relaxing. We stayed 4 nights and it was -30 Celsius the entire time. Having lots of indoor space in our apartment was perfect. We’d play off our back porch in the snow as long as we could, then retreat inside. They provide you with sleds and there was a small sledding hill of snow by the river. Just perfect. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is amazing. Buffet breakfast options are great. Pure Lapland and their husky kennel are only minutes away which was very convenient - you meet in the hotel foyer and you are clothed and driven from the hotel to the kennel. Awesome experience so close to the hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Staying out of town, amongst the trees and snowy landscape seemed more authentic for a Lapland trip.

I stayed here with my 2 teenage sons for 3 nights to maximise our viewing of Northern Lights and due to Pure Lapland tours departing here. We loved the location, the cozy feeling and all staff were warm and welcoming. The weather was extreme -32 whilst we were there which inhibited our “ outside” time ( just too cold to enjoy nature), however we highly recommend the barrel sauna and icy plunge. I also enjoyed the indoor sauna and the cozy fire in lobby to warm up after activities. The Restaurant was great also. We thank Kimmo and Timmo for their hospitality!
