Hotel Bergsonne Rigi Kaltbad

Das Frühstück war eher einfach, aber gut. Das Nachtessen (Halbpension) war super! Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

Das Badezimmer ist ziemlich klein.

Cleanliness, staff & bed were very good

It started off with no kettle in the room when we came in from the cold. We were told that if we wanted tea it was 5 Francs. It was then explained that no foods or drinks were allowed in the rooms which meant we had to drink the tea downstairs in the communal area. During our stay I was feeling unwell & wanted some boiling water for a cup of soup as I couldn’t stomach much, then was told that this had to be had downstairs in the communal area also ie: no food in the room rule. How is a hotel permitted to charge guests over $400 a night & not give them permission to drink a cup of tea in the morning observing one of the best views in the world or take a cup of soup upstairs when they have a head cold? Additionally the breakfast station was beyond comical. Day 1 no one knew how to run the coffee machine properly. Day 2, no eggs, apparently they just ran out (this wouldn’t be a big deal if there were many other options apart from loads of cereal & some cheese & cold meets & a couple apples & oranges in a fruit bowl). Day 3. It was chaos as it was the weekend, & everything kept on running out & people just standing & waiting around the small buffet area as well as standing around the coffee machine staring blankly & pushing random buttons. This place has an issue with the small things, however they were so significant that they really impacted our stay & we couldn’t wait to leave. We actually got the earlier train out on our 3rd morning.

Freundliches Personal und sauber. Am Wochenende unbedingt Halbpension buchen. Das Abendessen war wirklich SEHR gut.

Zimmer zu zweckmässig. Nur eine Leselampe.

Das Essen war sehr fein, die Aussicht wunderschön und das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Es gab nichts Wesentliches zu beanstanden – alles war insgesamt sehr angenehm.

Das Essen war einfach köstlich. Das Personal sehr freundlich und die Aussicht fantastisch. Was will man mehr für ein perfektes Wochenende.

Ik kwam hier al voor de 3e keer. Dat zegt wel wat. Gunstige ligging voor wat betreft wandelwegen, zwembad en station Personeel is zeer vriendelijk Goed ontbijt
