Neat!

This Inn was an unexpected surprise. My friend and I booked here for our annual girls weekend without knowing much about rhe area. We arrived early and were not 100% wowed by the outside. Inside changed our minds from the moment we opened the door. The Inn is warm, inviting and full of old Inn charm. The bar area makes you want to sit and stay and the staff was wonderful. The fireplace was roaring in the dinningroom when we arrived for dinner the food is to die for. The live music was good. I definitely had 2 of the best nights sleep that I have had in a long time. We will be back!

The inn was very accommodating for my check in needs and the restaurant had a good selection of food and beverages. Definitely will come again!

Patrick❤️ Billie & Tim plus other staff were welcoming, pleasant & courteous; very helpful, we had cheerful twin brothers bring our suitcases to the 3rd floor walkup! Our bed mattress was extraordinarily comfy & high quality sheets & cozy quilt we were perfectly snug & slep well as a result after touring nearby Longwood Gardens. Awesome to have a variety of cable channels to relax by before sleep. We appreciate feeling so welcomed at a small historic charming inn w a lovely vintage tavern, decorated for holidays & bar w great menu and yumy drinks creatively named for the holidays to match. It was like staying w good friends, staff were flexible to our needs & made this stop memorable. Note: having ramp up to the main entrance made wheeling overnight bags easier. Hope to return again, at least for dinner ❤️

A local treasure!

First of all, Kate and the Saturday night bar staff were very welcoming and a lot of fun. The Inn/Restaurant itself is historically gorgeous. The room we stayed in (302) was warm and cozy. The martini was cold and delicious. I recommend this place and we WILL BE BACK.

The bartender was so nice and super helpful!

This is an historic inn on a country road. Quite unique, even down to the real key to access your room. No staff is available at night but everything was fine. Be aware that you must climb steps up to your room but staff is quite willing to help with your luggage. Breakfast is meager: bagels, coffee, fruit and OJ. It has a good restaurant and excellent bar which is open till 10:00.
