Golden Lake

The room was very clean!! The balcony was very nice and the meals we had there were so nice, because we had a wonderful view! The staff was so friendly!!

It took a long time to bring the meals.. We ordered at 7.00 am for breakfast and had to leave at 8.00 am for paragliding, but the meals were still not finished....

Very good service. Hotal location is also good.

Dinesh sir and his parents were very welcoming! First of all, we were fan of their daal bhaat tarkari. We arrived very late than we expected and were very hungry. Honestly, that daal bhat was one of the best I ever had! Especially daal was very tasty. The room we had booked was the topmost one and was great! The view is nicee to enjoy at anytime of the day and night. Best to have breakfast enjoying the view, lunch enjoying the sunset, and also to enjoy the night life of Lakeside! Bathroom looks decent! Hallan Chowk is in a walkable distance!

I have no issues with the hotel! If you are trying to find a room with necessary basic items, lovely food, and a lakeside view from the upper rooms, this is the right spot! If one wants like a 5 star hotel settings, maybe not. 😃😉

We stayed at Hotel Golden Lake, Pokhara from We were fortunate to stay on the top floor, offering the most stunning view of Lake Phewa — truly a sight to wake up to! The hotel also offers ample parking space, which was a big plus for us. Though the property does not have a lift, the warm and courteous staff went out of their way to help us with our heavy luggage, making us feel completely taken care of. A special mention to the manager, whose incredibly helpful nature stood out — he even assisted us beyond his duty with an issue we faced related to our prepaid SIM card recharge. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, thanks to efficient coordination through Booking.com. The hotel offers reliable amenities like 24-hour hot water and laundry services, making the stay convenient and comfortable. Located in one of the best streets in Pokhara, the hotel is surrounded by vibrant cafés, restaurants, live music venues, souvenir shops, and an energetic nightlife scene — truly a prime location for travelers. What we appreciated the most was the transparency and honesty in all interactions. Every query regarding our ongoing travel plans was addressed with genuine guidance and honesty. In summary: If you’re considering this property, don’t think twice — just book it. The comfort, service, location, and hospitality make it absolutely worth every penny.

Only lift was not available , otherwise everything is excellent.

The behaviour and service of the hotel staffs/Owners were exceptional. Also the food they served was pretty decent too.

The location from the main Phokhra front is a little far.
