Excellent, absolute, reliable, comfortable, pleasant

My recent stay at Hotel Golden Lake in Pokhara was nothing short of exceptional! Nestled just a short stroll away from the tranquil shores of Phewa Lake, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and genuine Nepali hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. 🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. I stayed in a lake-view deluxe room, and waking up to the sunrise over the lake and the Annapurna mountain range in the background was absolutely magical. The beds are cozy, the linens fresh, and the en-suite bathroom was spotless with a powerful hot shower — a must after a long day of exploring! 🍽️ Food: The in-house restaurant served a delightful mix of local and continental dishes. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, with fresh fruits, bread, eggs, and local specialties like sel roti. Don’t miss the evening tea on the rooftop — the view is breathtaking, especially during sunset. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Staff & Service: What truly sets Hotel Golden Lake apart is the impeccable service. The staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile. Whether it was arranging transport, giving local recommendations, or ensuring we had everything we needed, their hospitality was world-class. 📍 Location: Golden Lake’s location is superb — just minutes from the vibrant Lakeside area, yet peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Shops, cafes, boat rides, and paragliding points are all within walking distance. 🧘‍♀️ Extras: Free Wi-Fi with good speed. Rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the mountains and lake. Affordable tour & activity bookings directly from the reception. Quiet surroundings despite being centrally located.

They are very friendly, co-operative, behaviour so good , cleanliness is very high , very nearest to the lake .

Breakfast not tried. Location view is good.

They rarely asked about what's the requirement of the clients. Also they didn't offer water. Guest have to ask for water regularly. They didn't gave soap, shampoo regularly. I think, they can change those & go ahead.

Staying at Golden Lake Hotel was an absolute delight. The warmth and care we received throughout our stay made it a truly memorable experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff — when we went on our trek, they kept our belongings safe and secure without us even having to worry. It’s those little acts of thoughtfulness that make a place feel more than just a hotel. The peaceful atmosphere, friendly service, and genuine hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. I’m already looking forward to coming back and creating more memories here. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, care, and a calm retreat.

Hotel wasn’t anything close to the pictures. The toilet didn’t function. The beds were stained

The owner Dinesh is very nice and helpful, we got day long tour package from them and some other services aswell, the location is amazing 2 min walk from main lake side road..we will find everything around. And the view from our room was nice. Recommend this hotel.
