"The GRACE FULL SWAN"

I booked very late in the night. I didn't realise the time and tried calling the property magager to cancel my booking also left message. Within minutes I received a call from the manager and expressed my situation. He was understanding and kind to wait up late for me to arrived at the property. The accommodation was very clean: bed linen had a fresh flowery smell and clean. I overlooked the idea to ensure that meal was added to my booking. However the host invited me to coffee and a sandwich. If the Host- Vladimir didn't call and reassure me that he will look out for me that night. I would have lost my money plus my booking. I wished I didn't have to go though booking.com for lastminute accommodation but to go directly to the manager. But Vladmir is one of most kindest and honorable person I met. I received my money's worth. The bus to the Airport was few steps from the accommodation. The room was quiet and charming oriental look. Thank you Vladimir. I appreciate you. You are a gentleman.

I cannot fault the accommodation. It was like home away from home. Better than those luxury accommodations.

Amazing to find such peace and solitude. The house was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The house was full of character.

Would have been nice to have breakfast and enjoy the garden but they don,t do breakfast and we did not have time to linger

The property manager had to be away during our stay and Robert was our host. He was most helpful and clear in guiding us to use the trains to get to the Buckingham Palace area. This was critical, as we only had a short 4-5 hours to see sights. He not only made us a delightful cup of tea upon arrival, he also gave us a very insightful and engaging history lesson on black tea and its origin. When we arrived back to our room, he greeted us and we had a wonderful conversation. He was so interesting and had the most engaging stories!! The next morning, he helped us arrange a taxi and sent us on our way with another cup of his favorite smoky black tea! Would like to rate this experience an 11!!

Only a longer stay would have made it better!
