Beautiful grounds, lovely entrance, bar and dining area. 2 fires burning created a warm and welcoming feel. The staff were so welcoming and lovely to us and the chickened provided us with excellent recomebdats for day trips which we would have never had gone to if not recomended.

Very warm, this could have been for specific reasons thoufh.

"Cosy castle in the countryside!"

Hidden gem! Beautiful building with a very calm and relaxed ambience. Felt like we were staying at a country house rather than at an anonymous hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was served in the panelled dining room with pristine white tablecloths. All the food was delicious. Would certainly recommend.

Enjoyed restaurant food. Lovely breakfast, not the best hollandaise sauce I’ve had. Lovely grounds. Excellent lawns to rear garden. Beautiful location. Wonderful opportunity to restore walled gardens. Everything well maintained. Very friendly and professional staff.

Could do with a lift to second floor. Other than that, better hollandaise sauce.

The location is fabulous, the castle is wonderful and the staff amazing but a shout out to Lucy and Becky, who looked after us in the evening, they were attentive, friendly and such lovely people.

Everything was really good, staff are exceptional! Evening meal and breakfast were of good quality and well presented. Nice friendly atmosphere from the minute we arrived until we departed. Will be back!!
