Poseidon Guest House

Cheap but we have stayed at way more comfortable places in Peru that were similar prices. Wilson picked us up from the airport but the guest house is not far from the airport.

Poor location, the bed was tiny, we had to ask for the water to be turned on when we wanted a shower, the bed side lamp and power outlet did not work, and the place overall is very run down. When we arrived we thought we were going to stay in a garage.

Less construction happening.

Sehr nah am Flughafen. Äußerst freundlicher chef,der einem auch viel an Empfehlungen gibt und versucht im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten zu helfen.

Aktuell eine komplette Baustelle, es wird alles saniert,auch der Poolbereich- ein entsprechender Hinweis bzw Berücksichtigung beim Preis, wäre angemessen gewesen. Auto vom Inhaber aktuell auch leider kaputt,weshalb transport bzgl Flughafen aktuell nicht möglich war. Zimmer roch feucht/klamm.äußerst kleines Bad. Nach Buchung erhält die Mitteilung einer zusätzlichen reinigungsgebühr,die vorher nicht bekannt ist.

Wonderful host, seems to be a one man show and he's super helpful whilst also clearly eager to refurbish the house. Room was nice and inviting communal spaces which we'd have used if we had more than 12 hours.

The venue is being refurbished so various items are in the process of upgrading. This meant the bathroom door locked with no one inside, bathroom sink is not attached to wall, a bedside lamp needed swapped and the floor was dusty when bare foot. Unfortunately airport transfers were not possible as his car is also being repaired. I think the place will be 10/10 exceptional by mid Jun 26.
