Best wat geluidsoverlast en de foto’s komen niet overeen met de realiteit. Je zit erg dicht op de buren en toen wij er waren was er steeds iets aan de hand met zijn motoren.

Genesis was very nice and responsive to all our requests and questions. This is a lovely location, The rooms are simple but more than adequate. El Castillo area has more to offer than I thought and nice to be away from the overcrowded La Fortuna. The breakfast was very good, with 2 choices.

The nearby karaoke bar was a bit loud at night. Bring earplugs if a light sleeper. Could definitely use more shelves in the 'kitchen' area and our room had just the one sink for the bathroom and kitchen area. But it was nice to have the small fridge and coffee maker in the room.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, overlooking Lake Arenal. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

I had to go upstairs, but it worked out fine.

The stay was perfect & exactly what we wanted! Owner was super friendly, helpful & accommodating! Also, the breakfast is very good!

We think the pictures on Booking are highly misleading and this wasn’t what we expected. There are definitely way better options available in Costa Rica for a more reasonable price. -Rooms are located at a busy road. There is definitely no volcano view from most of the rooms. Rooms are also very noisy. -There is only a small window that can open without any protection from mosquitoes. This in combination with the bathroom having no ventilations makes the room very warm and humid. Absolutely not pleasant to sleep in and it gets on you lungs. -Shower is not adjustable and if your lucky you’ll get warm water. If you’re not, you don’t. -Breakfast was disappointing. You get 3 toasts but barely enough eggs to fill one of them. We said something about it and we could just get a bit of extra marmalade but now extra egg. Staff was friendly but nothing special compared to other places we visited. Rooms we’re clean enough for Costa Rican standard but again nothing special and it could be better. In my opinion this is not the quality you should get for a room at this price. We had way better options for a lower price in Costa Rica.
