"Exceptional"

Beautiful views of the volcano. Host was very friendly. Room was large and clean and enjoyed that we could make coffee in the morning.

"One night stopover"

The couple that ran the place were very kind and were able to accommodate us at the last minute when our camping plans changed quickly during an intense storm. The view early in the morning from the breakfast area was incredible. It was still pretty cloudy from the storm the previous night, so I can only imagine how beautiful it would be had we been there on a clear day. The hotel is located about 200m away from La Ventanita, a super cute restaurant with great food that also has spectacular views.

The room itself was quite dated and although the surfaces appeared clean, there were ants in the kitchen area of the room. The room was quite humid and had very little airflow other than an old fan that didn't blow very much air.

It is a very basic accommodation, but clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent. It’s a very small property, and felt very “homelike”.

We were in the room beside the office and the airflow was poor. There is no AC, only a fan, and the room got very hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. Perhaps one of the other rooms would be better, but be aware that it is a very humid area.

"Great and peaceful place near la Fortuna"

Wonderful place to disconnect from the busy towns, peaceful, with a beautiful view on the volcano 🌋 and the valley Tasty restaurant just 1 min walking from the hostel Very kind staff, great breakfast

Just be aware that this place is a 30 min drive from la Fortuna and not «  200m from downtown » as shown in the research results for hostels in la Fortuna

It is a spacious place! And the breakfast was great!!!! The staff has welcome note! I loved it!

No A/C. So it was a bit humid with everything. Kitchen things could be cleaner!
