Alaska log cabins on the pond B & B

I was very disappointed when I arrived at the cabin, and I called Syd to tell him so. There is no running water in those cabins and he does not disclose that on his ad . Do you have to go down between cabins two and three to the shared two showers and bathrooms . There’s not even a way to get Water to the cabin other than a water pitcher in the refrigerator. I was disappointing because the ad, in my opinion, is misleading, and gives a false pretense of what the property is.

Loved watching the pond and enjoying beautiful view from our porch. Very clean shower house!

We had to leave too soon

The cabins are very nice, great for a getaway. The only negative is there is no running water in the cabin (they do provide a pitcher with water) and the shared bathroom. But those are very small things, I had no issues going to the public bathroom. Overall these cabins are perfect for a weekend getaway, 5 out of 5 stars.

Honestly I’ve stayed at Several Air bnb in the area and this was the most Peaceful had a nice cool breeze through the window it was very accommodating Space

Honestly if I had to put something here I’d say if they were spread further apart and more secluded

Amazing place to stay close to Fairbanks. The cabins sit on lake with few beavers to spot. Easily accessible from highway. Host was great in communication and checking on us. We stayed at the Chicken Creek cabin.

The cabin was very clean and the bed was nice and soft. I showed up around 10:30pm and the folks running the cabins were super nice. There's a nice fridge and oven/stove, and a nice TV with Direct TV hooked up. The place was just great, the ceiling fan kept it cool inside, the bathroom/showers are close by and there's a nice quiet vibe there.

The walls are thin, I closed the window in an attempt to block some of the possible sound from neighbors and realized right away that I could hear them pretty clearly. Even with the tv and ceiling fan going.

Stayed one night. Cool place came back two more nights. Love the pond

Quiet place with a lovely pond where beavers or otters swam around. Jimmy Dean sausage egg biscuits and Orange juice in the fridge for your breakfast along with coffee was just the ticket for a fast start out. Nice folks!

The owners are very friendly. They answered questions I had about the area.

Small comfortable cabin with porch overlooking a little pond (we saw a beaver). Enjoyed take-out on the porch from nearby Spicy Thai (delicious). Bathhouse had two individual rooms with shower that were clean and nice. These rooms had locks and “occupied” signs. Never had to wait although all 4-5 cabins were occupied.
