Alaska log cabins on the pond B & B

Small comfortable cabin with porch overlooking a little pond (we saw a beaver). Enjoyed take-out on the porch from nearby Spicy Thai (delicious). Bathhouse had two individual rooms with shower that were clean and nice. These rooms had locks and “occupied” signs. Never had to wait although all 4-5 cabins were occupied.

Breakfast is not really a breakfast: just juice and frozen kind of sandwich and no plates to use microwave for it. But at the same time - we haven’t asked for any plates :(

A very nice cabin for the money we spent. We'd go back. If I could change anything, it would be to have a bathroom attached to the cabin.

Attempted to cancel reservation twice. Was told I booked through Expedia but have NO record of booking in my Expedia account. Second time I attempted the owner, Jim Swearingen, told me he had no record of my reservation. I was not in his system. While on phone Expedia called him and he said he’d call back, but never did. Now I have received an email thanking me for my stay. This all transpired within reservation cancel window.

Nice little cabin with two beds. very cozy! Clean! They provided a quick breakfast and good coffee!

Very rustic, but a nice facility. Very convenient to both Fairbanks and North Pole Alaska.
