West End Dive Resort

Room was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Air conditioning worked great. Pool facility was pretty.

A lot of the facilities were run down and in need of repair (or in the middle of being repaired). Wifi did not work well or sometimes not at all in the room. Receptionist desk is also a 10 min walk from the actual hotel so it’s a pain when it comes to getting towels or anything else.

Massive pool is a really nice thing up there. Also very short walk to any activities in West End. Most parties and meeting up with new people happen there.

At times it feels a little bit abandoned. Not a lot of people to meet up if you wish to do so as a solo traveler. But in any other case - this might be the place for you.

Great pool , wonderful room. Walking distance to everything.

Easily walkable to the shops and food of west end, water taxis to west bay. Area felt safe as well as having security guards on duty.

Everything was great

The staff was excellent. Everyone was very kind and friendly.

An OK property for under $90/night per private room. The room (queen) is OK, cleaned regularly and owners and staff and very friendly and professional, security present at night on premises and the street, but thats about it. Nothing to do on premises, literally, zero activities are happening. There is a BIG pool where occasionally I saw a couple of people swimming in the morning, that's about it. The room had a lot of small maintenance issues. Street which leads to the hotel from the main "Ocean Drive" is poorly lit with large potholes, don't break your neck at night. I found a large number of other properties in the West End which are on the "Ocean Drive" per se, have pier into the "ocean" and are within the same price range.

Old and stinky sheets. Room smells like humid.
