Friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely Victoria hotel set in beautiful grounds with a view of the Cheddar reservoir. Room comfortable and clean, furnished in keeping with the age of the hotel. Full of character and very homely. Great value for money.

We stayed here on way back from a trip to the south west. Our hosts could not have welcomed us more warmly, and the room/services were exactly as described/illustrated. Simple, tasty breakfast which was beautifully cooked and served individually. Peaceful location with beautiful garden, and woods nearby. We slept really well. I would thoroughly recommend.

Owners greet you with a friendly welcome, the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Just what I needed at the end of a long week. Breakfast cooked to order, well made and served in a dining room with a beautiful view.

If you have ever driven around Somerset seeing lots of honey coloured large houses and wondered what they might be like inside, here is your chance! This was a unique experience and i was comfortable enough for one night. I would have liked liquid soap in the bathroom as I didnt want to open a new bar of soap just for one night. Breakfast was served to order and was good. There is a lovely view to the front of the property and in good weather its very nice to sit outside.

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting and run by really lovely people. The only criticisms are the breakfast though beautifully cooked was let down by poor ingredients, the sausages were of poor quality as was the bacon which was a real shame as the rest of the experience was really top notch! Buy better ingredients and up your prices as the rate could have been £20-£30 higher and still good value.

Beautiful house with amazing location. Just was a little bit disappointed because the mattress smells bad and it made room smells bad . And a few cobwebs around ceiling.

A lovely house, full of character, beautiful surroundings. Really nice people running the B&B, highly recommended. Great breakfast.

We spent just one night in this beautiful 200 year old house. Views from the front of the house over the reservoir were amazing. Just a short walk to the historic square in Axbridge for a very good meal in The Lamb. Breakfast was good served in the opulent surroundings of the breakfast room. The guest house has been sympathetically restored retaining all the old features to make a very special experience.

The service was very good and we were made to feel very welcome. We will return again in the future

A super friendly atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble for the owners. A delightful, old world property.
